ARCHIVE -- Stakeholder Consultation and Program Coordination Spoke Committee

The goal of the Stakeholder Consultation and Program Coordination Spoke Committee will be to address the stakeholder consultation state plan requirements in the draft of the ESSA plan; thoroughly vet drafts with constituency groups as needed and appropriate; consider and respond to feedback from the ESSA Listening Tour; and provide updates to, and review plans with, the ESSA Hub Committee throughout the submission process.

The Stakeholder Consultation and Program Coordination (SC/PC) committee is charged with ensuring that Colorado meets or exceeds the ESSA stakeholder consultation and program coordination requirements for state plan development. With that charge in mind, SC/PC members are reaching out to spoke committees to offer assistance in evaluating stakeholder consultation efforts, strengthening where applicable, and to begin collecting information necessary to draft the stakeholder consultation section of the ESSA state plan.

Please see the resources section to review some sample materials being used by this committee to assist other spoke committees in meeting consultation and coordination requirements in ESSA.
