Learning Cohorts: School Safety

Behavior Breakdown: Cracking the Code to School Safety and Student Behavior

Are you navigating new student behaviors post-pandemic? Are the “old” systems you used to use just not working anymore? Behavior Breakdown: Cracking the Code to School Safety and Behavior is a learning cohort designed to grapple with the big questions coming up every day around what we can do to keep kids safe and support intense needs.

This cohort will create a safe space for leaders to examine student behavior the way it is showing up in your school and help you enhance powerful systems and structures to meet students (and staff!) where they are.

Join us to give yourself the gift of a community of practitioners who share this same challenge and stop trying to do it all alone.

In six sessions throughout the year, you will examine specific student behaviors happening in your building, root causes, plans, strategies, and resources to best support you and your team.

Learning Cohort Facilitators:

  • Andrea Pulskamp, District Improvement Strategy Office
  • Amy Werpy, Office of Dropout Prevention and Student Re-engagement
  • Lynne DeSousa, Office of Learning Supports
  • Victory Molina, District Improvement Strategy Office
